I was born under the witness of the full moon, cared by people who doesn't really loved me. I live with few people, few friends, but lots and lots of enemies. The world we used to enjoy was not that happy than everyone knows. There are things that normal people don't know, only the ones who could see through the darkness understand what is happening. Now, the world's future is in our hands for safe keeping.
It all started when I enter college, as always my life was boring, no friends, no smiles, just me and my necklace. The most wonderful thing i ever seen in my life was the moon, every time I see it in full, my senses are at its tip top shape. I don't know how things happen but I can feel that I am not alone when I see the moon. I also have a very good friend, despite that I'm not open in socialization. He is Guile, a genius in everything, he is far too intelligent to me. We study at the same College and the same course. The first day of class isn't that good as always, but this time I guess things work out well.
"Hey, my name is Hazel, what's your name?"
"Oh, hi, my name is Kyu."
"Hmmm quite good name, I could see that you'll going to be a very good partner."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"Well, nothing maybe I'll just sit beside you so you could block those boys over there that want's me to go out with them."
"Oh, ok what do you want me to do?"
"When they came over here and ask if i want to go out with them, say that I'am your girlfriend."
"Oh, ahhhh.... ok."
One of the boys in our room approached Hazel and asked her if she wants to have lunch with him, but I cut them out and talked roughly, I also said that the girl was mine already.
"Hey miss do you mind if I treat you lunch?"
"Hey pal, she will never have a lunch with you, she's mine and she will only have a lunch with you after the world explodes."
"Well, fine then sorry for my big mouth."
"Be gone, and don't ever bug my girl again."
"Kyu. that's enough, thanks."
Hazel walked straight back to her friends, I stayed sat near the back door of our room waiting for the boring professor to come inside and say whatever he wanted to say.
One cloudy afternoon, I am walking down the street when I saw a mist of undefined thing. I stopped for a moment and watch it, there are also other people walking down that street but it seems like I'm the only one able to see it. I glanced back at the unknown thing, but someone grabbed my arm fast and started pulling me away from it. The person was very familiar to me, he is Guile. We ran so fast until we ended up on the boy's rest room. Inside the room was empty, there is no person there only me and Guile, he locked the door and lessen the opened lights. He stopped for a moment, then he speak at a low tone.
"So, you also seen it?"
"What, that thing outside? Yeah I saw it but I don't know what is that thing, do you know what that thing is?"
"No but I also saw it, did you feel something strange about that thing? "
"Uh-hoh, well I feel a little creepy about that."
Guile stopped, it is still new to him, he opened the door and let me out.
" Kyu, stay safe I'll see you later."
"Ok you too."
We went back to our rooms at continue our studying, but that mist is still running in my mind. I want to know what is that thing and why Guile and me are the only person who could see it.
